McDonald’s chicken sold out in 10 days in the UK

After its Chicken Big Mac sold out in the UK after just 10 days, McDonald’s is testing chicken in the US.

In a statement to Fox 6, McDonald’s said, “We’re always striving to give our fans more ways to enjoy the classic menu items they know and love.”

As part of the US taste test, the new sandwich will be introduced later this month for a brief period at only a select few stores in Miami. McDonald’s has not yet confirmed the sites of its stores.

After the burger was a smashing success in Britain and sold out over five weeks earlier than the firm had anticipated, McDonald’s is confident in its chicken run.

The McDonald’s Twitter account posted, “Well, that escalated quickly,” when the burger sold out after being launched in the UK in February and planned to be available until March 15.

“The limited edition Chicken Big Mac knew no limitations in your affection, and it’s sold out practically everywhere,”

Prices for the US version have not yet been released, however, the UK burger initially cost 59 cents more than the standard Big Mac.

There is no clear timeline for the burger’s return to the UK, despite promises made to its British supporters.

Disgusted customers of the fast food restaurant business vented their ire on Twitter when the burger was removed from the menu in February.

Because of the timing, it has been assumed that McDonald’s is attempting to seize control of the market with its new chicken burger as Chick-fil-market A’s share has risen over the past few years.

With the huge success of Popeye’s chicken sandwich, Burger King and Wendy’s quickly followed suit with their own chicken snacks.

‘The demand has been phenomenal and we simply cannot keep up,’ a spokeswoman stated at the time.

Therefore, we have decided to halt the campaign in order to give our restaurant staff and suppliers time to restock and prepare for its return in a few weeks.

We’ll inform customers of its reappearance via the customary routes. We appreciate everyone who helped make this launch our most successful to date.

We are eager to bring it back for the enjoyment of even more customers.

However, American consumers in Miami will be able to enjoy the new chicken addition to McDonald’s menu while British fans must have to wait.
