Mary Trump alleges Jared Kushner could be responsible for FBI’s investigation

Mary Trump, a niece of former President Donald Trump, has speculated that Jared Kushner could be the Trump organisation snitch who informed the FBI about secret papers being kept at Mar-a-Lago.

Attorney General Merrick Garland authorised the search on Monday, although it’s thought a private source provided the first information to federal officials.

Mary Trump was questioned by SiriusXM presenter Dean Obeidallah whether she knew who the culprit may be.

Mary Trump, a longtime vocal critic of her uncle, former President Donald Trump said she thinks his son-in-law Jared Kushner may have been the informant

She conceded that it was “difficult to select,” but in the end she indicated that Jared Kushner, the husband of Ivanka Trump and a top advisor in the White House under the Trump administration, could be to blame.

It’s so difficult to decide. I want all of them to be it. I believe that we should start by considering who would have access to this information.

Mary Trump said, “I don’t believe Mark Meadows [former White House Chief of Staff] would have access to that.

“I believe we need to investigate Jared’s $2 billion award in great detail. Why he has been so silent for so many months has to be examined carefully.

And we need to consider who else may be involved in this who would need a similar bold move to turning Donald in order to get out of jail—or at the very least, to lessen the danger they’re in.

It sounds like someone in Jared’s situation,’ I thought. Not that I’m claiming it’s Jared, but Trump smiled as he responded, “It may be.

About six months after Donald Trump left the White House, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund provided the $2 billion Mary Trump was alluding to.

Mary Trump is not the first one who have speculated that the former president’s Florida home may contain a mole.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, also made a suggestion that one of his kids or son-in-law may be at fault.

Cohen told Insider on Thursday that the person was unquestionably a part of Trump’s inner circle.

“I wouldn’t be shocked if it turned out to be Jared or one of his kids,” I said.

Who else would be aware of a safe’s existence and the precise items stored inside? Cohen enquired.

Officials explained how the Mar-a-Lago raid was purposefully scheduled for when Trump was not present at the resort.

According to Newsweek, the operation was predicated on a confidential human source who provided the FBI with the information.

The Wall Street Journal detailed on Wednesday how someone with knowledge of the stored papers informed the authorities that there could be other secret materials held at the club during a meeting with the FBI in June at Mar-a-Lago.

Early in February, it was made public that Trump had inappropriately brought sensitive information back to Mar-a-Lago.

The search for 15 boxes of papers was validated by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

As he hurriedly left the White House, Trump did not dispute the report and described it as a mix-up.

The fact that further classified information were still being kept after the boxes were sent to the NARA, however, raised more questions.

In an effort to ascertain what had been stolen, investigators questioned Trump staff members.

It led to a grand jury subpoena for Trump to provide certain papers in May.

The FBI and Justice Department opted to conduct a search warrant against former President Trump after the particular papers were not provided, and a federal court approved the request after the FBI established reasonable cause.

Trump reacted angrily to the FBI raid on Saturday, brandishing the authorised search as a “hoax and swindle.”

In a post on his Truth Social network, Trump said, “Like all of the previous Hoaxes and Scams that they’ve tried to try to stifle the voice of a great majority of the American People, I have TRUTH on my side, and when you have TRUTH, you will eventually be triumphant.”

According to a search warrant made public on Friday, the federal government is looking into whether Trump violated the Espionage Act, which makes it illegal to handle sensitive material improperly, including sharing it with those who are not authorised to receive it.
