Marina Morgan, a new bride, tragically dies in a golf buggy crash

A bride’s last joyful moments with her new husband are captured in heartbreaking new video before she was horribly killed in a golf buggy tragedy.

On June 11, Marina Morgan, 29, and Robbie, 30, were united in marriage in a lavish church ceremony in Sydney. The pair later traveled to Hamilton Island in northern Queensland for a vacation in the sun.

But only 10 days after the wedding, Ms. Morgan was killed when the groom’s buggy went over last week.

Robbie, a grieving widower, broke his silence to Daily Mail Australia on Monday and revealed that, as a final act of love, he will establish a charity in Ms Morgan’s memory.

She was always our angel, and now she is with God in the heavenly kingdom, according to Robbie.

“We shall all always miss her.”

Mr. Morgan is seen driving the buggy to the couple’s opulent oceanfront property as his wife films the countryside in a heartbreaking Instagram video that was uploaded before her passing.

Before the camera pans across the breathtaking layered pools bordering the rooms on the vacation island overlooking the ocean, the caption reads, “Good morning alright.”

In another film, the couple can be seen walking over the tarmac as they eagerly board a Qantas flight bound for Queensland and later, inside their opulent hotel room.

Other pictures from their honeymoon show the couple relaxing by the pool, eating banquets, lounging in lounge chairs by the water, and taking a helicopter tour of the island.

They had barely one week in paradise before tragedy struck, as the pair is thought to have left for the vacation hotspot on June 13.

Mr. Morgan paid respect to his wife as the newlywed turned widower got ready to bury her. According to him, the Marina Morgan Foundation will be named in her honor.

Uncertainty surrounds the charity objectives of the foundation, but Mr. Morgan promised to provide additional information following his wife’s funeral.

A heartbreaking homage to his wife that Mr. Morgan published only hours before speaking out, explaining his agony at losing the love of his life, was posted on social media.

He posted on Facebook, “With the awful loss of the most beautiful girl in the world.. my angel.. my saint.. my wife Marina Hanna, my heart is broken and my universe devastated.”

“My pillar of strength, my soul mate, my confidante, my angel, my saint, my everything!” Never again will the world be the same.

I promise to adore you always and always and always!
Last Monday, Mrs. Morgan was a passenger in her new husband’s electric golf buggy when it started losing power on Whitsunday Boulevard.

The buggy flipped over as the pair attempted to make a U-turn to return and charge it.

Mrs. Morgan, who was not buckled in, slipped out of the car and onto the pavement.

The young woman was in cardiac arrest despite the 35 minutes of efforts by bystanders, including an off-duty firefighter, a dentist, and a doctor.

When medical professionals realized the extent of her injuries, they decided against using the nearby Townsville helicopter that had been requested to transport her to the hospital.

Alcohol, according to the police, played no part. The inquiry is still ongoing.

Lockdowns and venue capacity restrictions during the pandemic led the couple to reschedule their wedding from its initial date of July 24, 2021, to June 11, 2022, which also delayed the date of their honeymoon to Hamilton Island.

They were unaware that the plan alteration was a life or death choice.

On July 24, 2013, the day of their wedding, a friend left the following message on Mr. Morgan’s Facebook page: “Thinking of you and Marina today.” Your very important day was supposed to be today.

On June 11, 10 days before the tragedy, the couple exchanged vows at St. Mary & St. Merkorious Coptic Orthodox Church in Rhodes, in Sydney’s northwest.

During the reception at Doltone House in Sydney’s Hyde Park, footage showed the bride and groom dancing together for the first time in front of a crowd of delighted friends and family.
