Once the Manchester City player is given the opportunity to assume a leadership role later in his career, Kevin De Bruyne believes Phil Foden will achieve new heights.
On Sunday, Foden scored three goals as Manchester City defeated archrival Manchester United 6-3 in the Premier League.
The attacker from England not only scored goals at the Etihad Stadium, but he also put on a fantastic all-around performance that confirmed his position as one of City’s important players.

However, City midfielder De Bruyne believes Foden’s best is yet to come. Foden presently plays on the flanks for Pep Guardiola’s club.
The Belgian believes the 22-year-old will develop and become the focal point of City’s inventiveness, a job presently filled by De Bruyne.
“He is only 22. I am aware that when I was 22 I was not the player I am today “De Bruyne stated.
“It’s difficult to find consistency with him because he’s so good. He’s been fantastic for us, so he’ll be around for a long time.”
Foden has the talent to play in a variety of positions, and De Bruyne anticipates that as his career develops, he will play more centrally.
