What are the chances?

Stephen Munoz Espinoza won $1 million on a lottery ticket he purchased after a boorish individual cut in front of him at a Florida grocery shop.

The weary Munoz Espinoza was attempting to purchase a lottery ticket when he was cut in line at the ticket machine.

To avoid a confrontation with his fellow lottery player, the 43-year-old decided to purchase his ticket at a counter inside the Publix Super Market in Delray Beach, Florida.

“It had been a long day, and I was exhausted,” said Espinoza.

Munoz Espinoza purchased a $50 lottery ticket for the “500X The Cash” game, which offers a jackpot of $25 million. He selected the one-time, lump-sum payment of $828,000 in total.

“I cannot believe I won $1,000,000!” Espinoza stated.

Espinoza hopped in his car and drove to the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, where he claimed his win and realized it was genuine.

As for what Munoz Espinoza intends to do with his newfound wealth, he intends to purchase a home for his family.
