A total of sixty-eight weapons and 1,364 rounds of ammunition were seized from the criminals.

The military’s success in disarming the criminals has undoubtedly dealt a significant blow to their activities.

Seizure of Stolen Oil and Denial of Criminal Profits

Additionally, the operations led to the recovery of substantial quantities of stolen oil and illegal petroleum products.

The troops successfully confiscated 323,650 liters of stolen crude oil, 128,700 liters of illegally refined AGO (Automotive Gas Oil), and 4,000 liters of DPK (Dual Purpose Kerosene).

The value of the estimated loss to the criminals due to oil theft amounted to a staggering sum of N388,441,660.

Alongside neutralizing terrorists and criminals, the denial of these ill-gotten profits has dealt a significant blow to the financial incentives driving illegal activities.
