Major League DJs call kasi life “toxic”

Major League, a high-flying DJ combo, took to Twitter to describe township life as toxic, as they see it to be.

They noted that people don’t talk enough about how life in the “kasi” is, claiming that it is “false” and filled with, among other things, a great deal of jealously, peer pressure, and hostility.

Recent tweet: “We don’t discuss enough about how toxic staying ko kasi is!!…Fake life,Jealousy,Competition,Bolotjana,Peer Pressure,Negativity the list goes on…

When you get means, move out ko kasi!!!”

We do not discuss enough how harmful staying ko kasi is!

The list is limitless…

When you get means, move out ko kasi!!!

While some fans agreed with the post, followers who opposed were outraged; some even questioned the DJs’ knowledge of “kasi” given that they grew up in London.

@Boity MM tweeted, “Nahhhhhh we live ko because we’re authentic. You people, wherever you are, get ko kasi and act like you’re from Kasi. Stop that!”

Nahhhhh we live ko kasi and we real. You people, wherever you are, get ko kasi and act like you’re from Kasi. Stop that!
