Madame Tussauds has unveiled a new waxwork figure of Queen Camilla, the wife of King Charles III, ahead of the Coronation on May 6th.

The figure is styled on the midnight blue gown she wore to the annual Diplomatic Reception in December 2022, the first of King Charles III’s reign.

The new lifelike figure will stand alongside King Charles in the Royal Palace Experience, alongside models of The Prince and Princess of Wales, and the late Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.

The new figure includes replicas of the late Queen Elizabeth’s Belgian Sapphire Tiara and matching George VI Sapphire necklace, as well as a wedding gift from her father, King George VI, in 1947.

It also features replicas of the royal blue sash and star of the Order of the Garter, the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, and Her Majesty’s Art Deco engagement ring and Welsh gold wedding band.

This is the second figure made by Madame Tussauds of Queen Camilla, with the first created after a sitting at Clarence House in June 2007.

Those visiting The Royal Palace experience will be invited to sign a Coronation Book which will then be sealed in the attraction’s archive.
