Mabuza to answer to oral questioning in Parliament

On Thursday, Deputy President David Mabuza will appear before a session of the National Assembly to respond to questions on a variety of matters relating to a capable and developing state, HIV/AIDS response, and service delivery.
The statement added, “In response, the Deputy President will update the house on the government’s plans to construct a capable and developing state by implementing the National Framework for the Professionalisation of the Public Sector.”
As the world prepares to observe World AIDS Day on December 1, the Deputy President, in his capacity as Chairperson of the South African National AIDS Council, will brief members on how the implementation of the National Strategic Plan for HIV, TB, and Sexually Transmitted Infections has positively impacted the fight against the disease over the last five years.
“The Deputy President will also provide an update to the House of Representatives on the government’s progress in delivering socioeconomic benefits to military veterans, as well as on the national and provincial government’s efforts to assist municipalities in fulfilling their constitutional mandates.”
Mabuza is also scheduled to explain South Africa’s support for dialogue to resolve problems on the continent as part of efforts to build a better Africa and globe.
