Lupita Nyong’o and Selelo Masekela are feeling the love!
The “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” star and the television host announced their relationship on Instagram on Friday.

@selema #thisismylove #enoughsaid,” Nyong’o, 39, captioned an Instagram Reel of the new pair snapping in sync as their attire changed to Iniko’s “The King’s Affirmation (Chill Mix)” starring Reuel Williams.
Masekela, age 51, uploaded the same video but with a unique, endearing caption.
“Hearts are synched. My whole and actual love @lupitanyongo. ❤️❤️❤️#outkickedthecoverage 😉,” he gushed.
The couple seemed to be on vacation, as their attire changed from paisley robes to cheetah-print beach suits. In addition, they wore three stylish costumes that complemented one another.
Famous friends of the duo could not conceal their joy.
“Obsessed 😍😍,” musician Janelle Monáe commented on the Oscar winner’s post, as “Black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross added, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
R&B artist Kehlani exclaimed, “Woooooowwwww I LOVE THISSSSSSS BROOOO” in response to the broadcaster’s upload.
“Congratulations! Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, added, “You earned it,” while “Fuller House” alum Jodie Sweetin remarked, “Ok… the dancing. The appeal. This is the end.”
Identical media personality Jason Kennedy approved of the romance as well, stating, “I’m here for this.”
Nyong’o, who has previously denied dating rumors involving Michael B. Jordan and Jared Leto, is infamous for keeping her personal life under wraps since “privacy is a scarce commodity.”
“Filmmaking requires so much time. And intense,” she told Vogue UK in December 2019. “When working on ‘Black Panther,’ several of us were single. Nobody was single on ‘Little Monsters.’
“After a long day of work, everyone wants to return home to their family, which makes perfect sense,” she continued. It is really isolating when you lack that.
Masekela is the son of South African jazz musician Hugh Masekela and is originally from New York. He has covered the Winter X Games for ESPN and the Summer Olympics for NBC as a sports reporter.
