Luke Combs, a country music icon, has given back money to two kids who piled firewood to save money for his Maine show.
The 12-year-old Bo Fenderson and his pal Tanner put up a poster during the Bangor performance on Friday night to inform Combs of their efforts to save money for the tickets.
We earned $100 stacking 5 cords of wood, purchased 2 Luke Combs tickets, the placard said. He sounds great, man.

At a performance for The Middle of Somewhere Tour, the singer, 32, saw the placard and read it to the crowd.
Then, he took a seat on the stage’s edge and said, “OK, I’ve got a question for y’all.
What was the cost of your tickets? $100? You two made $100. $200? At $100 each? Oh my God, this is all I have is $140. If you desire that, then repay yourself. I’ll bring you more.
He autographed their hats and gave them each $140 out of his own pocket before inviting them to stay out with him backstage after the performance.
I hoped for it to happen, Bo said TV5. I wished. I prayed, and it came to pass.
As soon as they heard Combs was performing in Bangor, according to his mother Desiree, they wanted to go right away, but they also wanted to teach the boys a lesson about working for their money.
Tanner’s statement that “hard effort pays off” suggests that the lesson was understood.
“The two most essential things in life are hard work and compassion,” Combs allegedly told them onstage, according to Bo.
The artist was praised as a “wonderful role model.”
“I just think it’s very fantastic that he did this to reaffirm principles that we strive to inculcate in our children,” Justine, Tanner’s mother, said.

While performing throughout the whole show, he made sure that every ticket buyer received their money back.
