However, the family’s plans were tragically cut short when their car collided with a truck in Menangle Park, south-west Sydney.

The accident claimed the lives of Ms. Sila, Ivy, and her two-year-old brother Kai. Instead of celebrating, loved ones gathered to lay the family to rest on Friday.

Hundreds of mourners visited the Lakemba Mosque to bid their final goodbyes to Ms. Sila, Ivy, and Kai.

The green coffins were carried out of the mosque by dozens of men, with Ms. Sila’s coffin being the first to be carried.

The family was then taken to the nearby Narellan Cemetery to be laid to final rest.

The mourners carried flowers in the sweltering 30-degree Celsius heat, embracing and wiping away tears as they said their final goodbyes.

Ms. Sila and Kai died instantly in the accident, while Ivy was airlifted to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in critical condition.

However, Ivy passed away on Wednesday morning. Ms. Sila was reportedly out making final preparations for the Islamic celebration when the accident occurred.

The male truck driver was not injured in the accident and underwent mandatory drug and alcohol testing.

After the family’s deaths, a fundraiser was created by Ms. Sila’s sister and best friend, Diana Effendi, to help Mr. Prahastono pay for the burial costs.

The fundraiser called on friends, family, and the wider community to donate to help ease the financial burden on Mr. Prahastono.

The GoFundMe has raised over $120,631 so far.

The GoFundMe for the family can be found here.
