Louis Theroux, the renowned documentarian and journalist, recently shared his experience of being approached by TikTok after his rap track, “Jiggle Jiggle,” became a viral sensation.

Louis and Amelia discussed their initial reactions to the sudden surge in popularity of the rap on the podcast.
Louis mentioned that after their Chicken Shop Date episode, Amelia’s video editing team shared a rough copy of the episode, including the rap, which led Louis’ wife to suggest removing it due to its age.
However, they decided to keep it, understanding the appeal to the TikTok audience.
Little did they know that the rap would catapult Louis to unexpected fame and recognition.
TikTok’s Impact and Worldwide Demand
Louis revealed that a few weeks after the episode aired, his agent informed him that TikTok had reached out due to the overwhelming demand for the “Jiggle Jiggle” rap sensation.
The track had garnered hundreds of millions, possibly even billions, of hits and views.
Amelia recalled Louis sending her a message expressing gratitude for the interview but mentioning that he couldn’t leave the house without being approached by young people.
The unexpected fame brought its challenges but also amusement.
