Liverpool will not accept a low-ball offer for Sadio Mane as Bayern Munich’s increases their bid

Bayern Munich will make an improved third bid for Sadio Mane, but it will fall far short of Liverpool’s asking price.

According to Bild, the German giants are ready to give £34.6 million for Mane, an increase from their previous offer of roughly £30 million.

The increased bid, though, is still some way short of what the Reds want for the wanted forward, who has an asking price of £42 million.

With Liverpool finalising an £85 million deal with Benfica for Darwin Nunez, it appears that Mane will go this summer, and Bayern is attempting to force the best deal possible for them.

The 30-year-contract old’s at Anfield expires in a year, but he has made it known that he wants to leave, with the Reds willing to let him go if a suitable offer is given.

PSG and Real Madrid have also expressed interest in Mane, therefore Liverpool will not accept a low-ball offer while other suitors remain.

The Reds are said to be perplexed by Bayern’s meager proposals, especially because they are demanding €50 million (£43.3 million) for Robert Lewandowski, who has already stated his desire to leave with one year left on his contract.

Barcelona is the frontrunner in the race to sign Lewandowski, although Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are also interested.

Nunez, meanwhile, landed in Liverpool on Tuesday, with his move from Benfica expected to be finalized soon.
