A statement released by the club on the fired players says:
Sandilands’ contract comes to an end on June 30 and will not be renewed however, the Club is currently in discussions with Management regarding another role at the Club.
The Club can also confirm that contractual discussions with Monare have collapsed as the two parties could not agree on terms.
The Club would like to wish the players well in their future endeavours.
Orlando Pirates severed ties with co-coach Fadlu Davids, who had joined the club in 2019 to work with then-coach Josef Zinnbauer, shortly after the season ended.
The first two players to leave Orlando Pirates were Gabadinho Mhango and Thulani Hlatshwayo, with the former joining AmaZulu in a swap deal involving Tapelo Xoki.
However, Evidence Makgopa, Bienvenu Eva Nga, Miguel Timm, and Azola Matrose were all signed by the Pirates on Monday.
