During the Platinum Jubilee, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex published a new photograph of Lilibet on her first birthday at Frogmore Cottage.

It is understood that Harry and Meghan staged a’relaxed’ garden party for Lilibet, one, in the Windsor estate on Saturday, complete with birthday cake, balloons, party games, and picnic munchies.

In an official portrait taken on her birthday, she is seen with reddish hair, smiling, and clothed in a pale blue frock with a white bow in her hair.

When Prince Harry was a child, he was photographed with his signature reddish locks, which are similar to those of his daughter now.

Misan Harriman, a photographer and friend of the couple, took the Lilibet portrait while at the picnic with members of the Royal family.

Zara and Mike Tindall’s three children, Mia, eight, Lena, three, and Lucas, one, are claimed to have attended, as well as Savannah, 11, and Isla, ten, daughters of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly.

Charlie Van Straubenzee, Archie’s godfather, and his brother Tom, Princess Charlotte’s godfather, were also invited, according to reports.

Omid Scobie, a royal analyst and friend of the Sussexes, captioned a photo of little Lillibet – who is named after the Queen – on Instagram, saying the couple gathered close friends and relatives for a “intimate garden picnic.”

During the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Queen was also claimed to have met her namesake on Thursday or Friday.

Harry and Meghan’s wedding baker, Claire Ptak, prepared a special order for the occasion, according to Mr Scobie.

‘It was a great do and had everything you’d expect from a child’s birthday party,’ a source told The Sun about the celebration.

‘The idea was for it to be very relaxed and casual, with people free to pop in and out as they wished.’

They said that it was a ‘nice opportunity’ for some of the royal children to meet little Lilibet, with this trip being her first time in the UK.

They added that ‘lots of discussion’ had been had about the best gifts for the ‘milestone’ birthday, with a ‘£75 pink Volkswagen Beetle ride-on toy’ proving a popular idea.
