He went on to reveal that in celebration of their debut album, The 1975, turning 10 years old, they would perform the album in its entirety at Reading and Leeds festival in support of Capaldi.

Capaldi, known for hits like “Before You Go,” also attended LF Soundsystem’s performance at the King Tut’s stage on Saturday.

Earlier this month, he announced his hiatus from touring, citing the need to address his mental and physical health due to the impact of his Tourette’s syndrome.

Capaldi had previously canceled shows to rest and recover before his Glastonbury performance.

In a social media post following Glastonbury, Capaldi expressed the need to focus on his well-being, acknowledging the importance of taking time to prioritize his mental and physical health.

He thanked Glastonbury for their support, emphasizing the significance of the messages he received.

Capaldi’s transparency about his experiences with Tourette’s has been documented in his documentary, Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now.

The 1975’s support and Capaldi’s decision to prioritize his health highlight the importance of mental well-being in the music industry.
