Lewis Capaldi expresses gratitude to fans

Following his recent live show in Frankfurt, Lewis Capaldi has expressed his gratitude to fans for their support after experiencing a tic attack on stage.

The Scottish singer, who has Tourette’s Syndrome, stopped singing his hit song Someone You Loved as he began to twitch.

As some of his 15,000-strong audience filled in the lyrics, Capaldi confirmed that the condition, which makes his shoulder twitch when he is nervous, excited or tired, is not painful.

He later took to TikTok to reassure fans who had expressed concern. Capaldi went public with his diagnosis in September 2019.
