According to the above-listed Faculties/Colleges, a Two-Day Orientation Programme for Freshmen (100L and Direct Entry/Conversion) has been set for the 2022/2023 academic year.
It is anticipated that every single student would engage in this vital program. In addition, they are required to register prior to the beginning of the program on each appropriate day.
Dates: January 23rd and 24th, 2023
Registration: 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Launch: 10.00am prompt
In addition to the matriculation ceremony, this orientation program is a University requirement. It serves as a veritable information platform through which incoming students are introduced to some of the university’s most influential leaders and become familiar with the institution’s vision, mission, fundamental values, and culture.
During the orientation, various speakers will elaborate on and interpret the University’s current student expectations, ranging from JAMB issues, central registration, fees and financial regulations, exams and records to general student welfare and resources, security regulations, and recreational privileges.
Absenteeism will not be tolerated by the University. Students who fail to register and attend this program will be penalized by the university.
