Kyle Daniels is acquitted of child sexual abuse

Kyle James Henk Daniels, a Sydney swim instructor, has been cleared of certain allegations of sexual assault, but the jury is still undecided on others.

Daniels, who turns 24 this month, is charged with having improper sex with young female pupils in 2018 and 2019 while working as a part-time teacher at a Mosman swim school.

He was found not guilty on Thursday of three charges of having sex with a kid under the age of 10, one further allegation of indecent assault, and a count of having sex with someone.

The acquittals include alleged behavior against two pupils.

Daniels is also accused of groping female pupils’ genitalia 14 times when they were wearing swimming suits, while they were between the ages of six and ten.

In addition, he is charged with two charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child under the age of ten due to claims that he used his fingers to enter the vagina of several females.

Jurors said in a memo on Thursday that they were unable to reach agreement on the last 16 counts.

On Friday, Judge Kara Shead promised to give the jury further instructions.

Daniels staunchly denies ever purposefully touched any kid improperly and entered a not guilty plea to all allegations.

The swim instructor allegedly took use of the chance to act on a sexual desire to girls during classes, according to The Crown, who said there was strong connection between the girls’ stories that demonstrated the alleged incidents were no coincidence.
