Koloi Shivambu (portrayed by Joseph Tshepo Senatle) traveled to the City of Gold on Thursday’s episode of Skeem Saam for his first interview in his field of study, jewelry design, but things were not as they seemed.
After a few minutes in the taxi on route to his Roodepoort interview, Koloi was robbed and left naked by the roadside.

The attackers only stole his modest suitcase of clothes and the R1,200 his uncle gave him to purchase food and other items he may need after his anticipated successful interview.
It appears, however, that he was betrayed by the man Koloi mistook for a cab marshal. He is the one who directed him to the taxi full with men wearing only inexpensive wigs.
When he attempted to flee, the thugs advised him to relax and enjoy the journey. However, when exiting the taxi, he appeared to be wearing nothing. Now, only his undies and bowtie remain.
At this rate, it becomes unlikely that he will make it to the interview, and he will be forced to return home; however, he lacks a telephone to inform his friends of his predicament.
The viewers of the educational soap opera are persuaded that the show’s creators do not want Koloi to be as successful as his contemporaries.
This is because when he received the interview invitation, everyone was thrilled for him. It appears that his luck has run out.
