Kody Brown “nearly never” sees his kids on “Sister Wives”

Kody Brown said that he “almost never” sees his children on the Sunday edition of TLC’s “Sister Wives.”

During a TV show on how the leader of the Brown family spends his time, he said, “I don’t usually look after my own kids. I’ve been employed my whole life. We were always busy where I grew up, on a ranch.

When Christine, who was then Kody’s third wife, said in a solo interview that he brought Robyn’s kids along on a trek with her and her kids because he was “babysitting” them, Kody was defending himself.

According to Kody, he is usually too busy to accomplish it.

“Even though I’m good at it, I seldom ever watch my kids. It’s easier for me to pay someone $20 an hour than to lose $200 per hour on the present business, I said.

Kody appears to have had a number of jobs over the time that “Sister Wives” has been on television, but it’s unclear what he is working on right now.

Among Kody’s 18 children—who he had with his four wives—only a tiny percentage are still minors. He does have a 12-year-old kid with Christine, however. His youngest child from his second marriage, Janelle, is 17 years old. His fourth wife, Robyn, is the parent of the Browns’ youngest children. Solomon, a boy they share with Kody, is 10 years old, and Ariella, a girl, is 6 years old. One of Robyn’s previous spouse’s children, Breanna, is 17 years old.

On Sunday’s show, Robyn mentioned having a babysitter help with her smaller kids because Kody is always so busy. Adult offspring of Janelle, Christine, and Robyn all reside with their parents.

“Kody and I have a lot going on during the day,” Robyn said in a solo interview. “I have a nanny so I can have her assist me instead of having to ask Kody to help with the kids,” the speaker said.

She argued that it was unfair of her to ask him to help when he had a big family and so many responsibilities.

Robyn seems to disagree from Kody’s prior wife Janelle and Christine over how he spends his time.

He is free to see his three at-home daughters, Truly, Ysabel, and Gwendolyn, anytime he likes, Christine said in the episode that aired on Sunday.

He is just as present as before—neither more nor less so. The same holds true, “Christine said. hasn’t really really noticed it,

Christine, on the other hand, said that her elder daughters were aware of Kody’s behaviour and that it was having an effect on their connection with him.

It’s hard to tell what Kody did at Robyn’s apartment from what he did at my residence. He just recently left my house, she added.

Christine’s older children, have told her that they believe her relationship with Kody is “broken,” that they cannot imagine what it must be like for her to see him with other women, and that they do not want to see it either.

I really have Christine informing me that the kids don’t think I want to be around them, Kody said in the episode.

I’ve been at home all year, I guess. I did nothing. I didn’t do any business, travel anywhere with any of them, or visit any friends.

He didn’t refute Christine’s claim, but he seemed to imply that since she didn’t follow his rigid COVID-19 rules, it’s her fault he doesn’t get to visit her kids.

New episodes of “Sister Wives” season 17 air on TLC every Sunday at 10 p.m.
