King Charles III and Prince William paid an unannounced visit to a 16-hour-long line of people waiting to view the Queen’s lying-in-state.
His car abruptly drew up to the Albert Embankment, where hundreds have been waiting to view Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin, after his first visit to Wales as King yesterday.

As a mark of respect for his late mother, the new monarch shook hands with individuals braving the September cold.
Videos of King Charles depict him assuring the patient mourners that the end of the line is “not too far away.”
According to the BBC, the King reminded those in the large line that they had made “lifelong friends” during their epic wait, and he also discussed soccer with younger members of the public. The King is a fan of the Burnley football team.

The heir apparent, Prince William, also mingled with the masses. He inquired as to how they dealt with frigid evening temperatures.
Additionally, the Prince of Wales shook hands with Paddington Bear.

The BBC said that cheers of “God Save the King” and “God Save the Prince of Wales” echoed across the large line as the royal couple walked up and down.
Some individuals shed tears upon meeting the Prince, who remained for 20 minutes following his father’s departure.
One woman informed the Prince of Wales that she had waited in line for thirteen hours. He responded: “Thirteen and a half hours? You look pretty fine after 13 hours “as stated by BBC
