After Kim Kardashian missed the awards, Seth Rogen transformed his address at the Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast into a parody of the reality star.
“Are we going to discuss the absence of Kim Kardashian? “Is that likely to occur?” When he stepped onto the platform to present Charlize Theron with an award, the “Superbad” actor made the following remark.
Kardashian was scheduled to serve as a presenter, but she was unable to attend.
Rogen said in video footage acquired by Page Six on her absence, “I’ll say this… Having seen every episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians,’ I am aware that she is not doing a more vital task. I’ve watched 100,000 hours of her. She has never accomplished anything more significant than this. This would be the show’s climax.”
The comedian then questioned, “What is she doing? I’m not sure.” However, he continued, “She’s actually… She undoubtedly has a lot on her plate right now.”
A source stated that Kardashian was unable to attend owing to a date mix-up.
A source close to the Skims fashion mogul stated that the incorrect event date was given to Kardashian’s crew several weeks in advance. The error was not discovered until Monday, and owing to a prior job obligation, her schedule could not be altered at the last minute. She was quite sad that she could not attend. According to the insider, Kardashian “never cancels.”
At the annual event, Theron accepted the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. Rogen made a joke about his co-star in the upcoming picture “Longshot” I was absolutely terrified to be in her presence since she murders people in every film she does.
Rogen also made jokes about his co-star Charlize Theron and the brunch.
Rogen said of the “Mad Max: Fury Road” actor, “Our film tanked, but we remained friends. We are certain that we cannot assist each other professionally… I’m really happy we get to continue hanging around because Charlize is entertaining.”
The Los Angeles event coincides with the Hollywood Reporter’s 2022 Women in Entertainment Power 100 list, which includes Kardashian, Shonda Rhimes, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Viola Davis, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Bassett, and others.
