The Good American founder, Khloe Kardashian, revealed a large vertical incision on her left cheek in a new trailer for the upcoming installment of The Kardashians.
The incision was four centimeters in length and was a result of surgery to remove a melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
The reality TV star had previously had surgery to remove melanoma from her back 19 years ago.
In the newly-released Disney+ teaser, viewers saw the famous family react to her latest skin cancer scare and express their concerns about her wellbeing.
Her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, spoke to Khloe with concern, and Kris Jenner shared her worries in a confessional, stating that the incision on her face was very concerning.
Khloe revealed that melanoma is deadly, and this was way more serious than she anticipated.
The mother-of-two had noticed a small bump on her face, which she assumed was a zit.
However, after it did not go away, she decided to get it biopsied seven months later.
Two doctors biopsied the lump, which was incredibly rare for someone her age.
A few days later, she was told that she needed an immediate operation to remove a tumor from her face.
She shared that Dr. Fischer was able to get everything, and all her margins appeared clear. Although she would have a scar and an indentation in her cheek from the tumor being removed, Khloe stated that she was making the face bandages look fabulous.
Khloe told fans that the reason she was speaking out was to encourage others to get themselves checked if they spot anything unusual.
