Khama Billiat of Kaizer Chiefs is overpaid and over 30 years old

Kaizer Chiefs has paid Khama Billiat a stunning salary, making him one of the highest-paid players in the PSL at the moment.

Billiat has a monthly income of approximately R1 million ($54,203) and a yearly compensation of over R12 million ($650,433).

Combined with his age of 32, these statistics make him a good candidate for transfer by the club.

The Chiefs would not sign Billiat if he were not already at Naturena, per their most recent transfer summary.

He is over 30 years old and certainly overpaid for what he brings to the squad.

Roger Feutmba, a former Mamelodi Sundowns and Cameroon player, believes that Kaizer Chiefs striker Khama Billiat must be put under pressure.

Billiat has yet to score in the Premier Soccer League this season, and Feutmba believes he should be reminded that he is compensated to score goals.

Feutmba claimed that Billiat lacks a sense of urgency on the field.

“You must put yourself under positive pressure in life, not just in football,” Feutmba told SNL24.

It is natural in football for a player whose performance is subpar to be concerned that his contract will not be renewed.

The former PSL star believes that Khama Billiat is running out of time to demonstrate that he can return to his former level of play.

Kaizer Chiefs cannot continue to provide opportunities to a player who underperforms.

“No team will retain a player who does not meet their expectations.

“I am hopeful that he will recover from his injury and continue playing football.

“A player like Khama must contribute in order for the team to achieve success.

“Khama must now be concerned since the Chiefs are paying him to play frequently and score goals.

“His injury is not helping his circumstances, but I hope he will return to battle for his future as he is no longer a child.

He must concentrate on regaining his form, which I believe he can achieve.
