What led to the creation of KG and Amakhosi? Gavin Hunt acquired the quick winger from Swallows FC. Sekgota was recruited by the previous Bidvest Wits coach from Vitória Setbal in Portugal.

Coach Zwane said Sekgota has improved his confidence and consistency as a result of his achievements, which includes being called up to the Bafana Bafana team.

According to News24, Zwane told reporters, “Sekgota is definitely one of the finest players to have, ever since the season began. What I’m delighted about is that he is now playing 90 minutes.

“If you look back at him from earlier seasons, he was more of an impact player.

“Now that he is more direct, we can play 90 minutes and still show character and challenge the opponent.

To put the opponent under strain, you need such players.

The Soweto-born coach responded to the player’s selection for the national team to wrap up the conversation.

I’m delighted for Sekgota, Zwane said.

“We needed at least one, two, or three guys on the national team, but the amount of individuals selected wasn’t what we had in mind.

“But we are thrilled for him and we’ll provide him all the assistance he needs; I believe this will also help him feel more confident.

You must have seen his play today to understand that he merits the call-up, and as a club, we are delighted for him, Zwane said.
