Today, The Anglophile Channel released the following statement: ‘It is with great regret that The Anglophile Channel announces the passing of our dearest friend and comrade, comedian/host and award-winner Kelly Monteith.
Kelly co-hosted Brit Flix with Kelly, Paul, and Two-Buck Chuck and Kelly’s BBC Memories for TAC.
The Los Angeles Press Club honored Monteith and Boland the National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Award for Best Television Anchor/Host in 2015.

Today, The Anglophile Channel released the following statement: “It is with tremendous regret that The Anglophile Channel announces the demise of our greatest friend and comrade, comedian/host Kelly Monteith.”
After a few successful appearances on The Des O’Connor Show, Monteith featured in his own hit comedy series, “Kelly Monteith,” which aired for six seasons on the BBC.
“Monteith collaborated with Neil Shand on his eponymous series.” Monteith was among the first American comedians to have his own BBC show.
The statement said, ‘In America, Monteith starred in The Kelly Monteith Show and The Hit Squad, both on CBS.
According to Kelly, one of the highlights of his career was playing at the 1983 Royal Variety Performance for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
His experience in England was extraordinarily meaningful to Monteith. During his tenure there, he met Caroline, his future wife. The couple has two offspring.
Kelly will be much missed at The Anglophile Channel, in the comedy world, and by both his family and friends.

Following the news of Kelly’s passing, fans shared condolences on social media.
Actor Sanjeev Kohli tweeted, “Depressing news regarding Kelly Monteith. Like Dave Allen, he is witty, engaging, and (ahead of his time).
