Katherine Ryan claims that women in the entertainment industry are always on the lookout for predatory guys.

Female performers must assess if a position is’safe,’ according to the comedian, 38, and whether they should take employment if they have heard a male colleague is’very hazardous.’

It comes after the Canadian actress admitted to confronting a TV colleague and accusing him of being a’sex pest.’

‘It’s a continual state of awareness – is this work safe for me to do?’ she stated on ITV’s Lorraine.

‘Should I take that position knowing I’ll be working with someone who has a reputation for being hazardous, according to my peers?’

The Canadian stand-up comedian also claims that as her career has progressed, she has encountered less sex pests in her field.

She did say, though, that female comics were still talking about predatory guys in the industry.

She made the remarks in response to a question about if there was still an issue in the entertainment industry.

In an interview with Sara Pascoe this week, she confessed that she had confronted a television colleague and accused him of being a sexual predator.
The actress, who has starred on programmes such as Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, and a League Of Their Own, said she made the accusation in front of others working on a famous show.

‘I reared it,’ she explained. Every day, I labeled him a predator in front of his face and in front of everyone.’

‘However, what am I meant to do?’ she said. Because I don’t have proof, it’s a tangled mess.

‘What are you saying, I’m not obliged to feed my kids because of someone else?’
