Prince William flew to Scotland as concerns for the Queen’s health grew, but Kate remained in Adelaide Cottage and was photographed leaving Windsor Castle this afternoon to pick up the children from school.

Today marked the first day of school for Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.

Yesterday, the family of five came together for an afternoon of “settling in,” and this morning, images of them strolling in hand-in-hand were released. But today it was only Kate doing the school run.

The Duchess of Cambridge remained in Windsor while Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis began their first full day at their new school, Kensington Palace announced in a statement.

According to Kensington Palace, Kate stayed at home because today was the first full day of school for her children. Yesterday, the family of five arrived for a “settling-in” day (above), but today Catherine will be the only one completing the school run.

The Duke of Cambridge has joined Prince Charles and other immediate family members at the Queen’s bedside, as doctors have expressed ‘worry’ for her health.

The Queen, 96, is under medical monitoring but is described as “comfortable” after physicians inspected her this morning, hours after she was advised to rest in lieu of attending a Privy Council meeting last night.

The Queen’s doctors are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and have urged that she remain under medical monitoring, according to a royal spokesperson. The Queen continues to reside in comfort at Balmoral.

After this week’s engagement in Scotland, the Queen’s children are all racing to the royal house, where the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, is already there.

In addition to the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex, one of the Royal Family’s helicopters was spotted landing on the grounds at midday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were scheduled to attend the WellChild Awards in London this evening, but their spokesman confirmed that they have changed their plans at the last minute. Instead, Harry is heading to Aberdeenshire as millions of Britons and Her Majesty’s subjects pray for Meghan’s recovery.

Prince William went to Scotland, along with other immediate family members, in response to rising worries for the Queen’s health. A plane carrying the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of York, and the Earl and Countess of Wessex lands in Aberdeen.

Saturday, Kate and William relocated to the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to be closer to their children’s new school in Ascot.

The Duke and Duchess are establishing a new life in the countryside, away from their official London abode Kensington Palace, in an effort to prioritize their children and allow them more freedom.

The nine-mile, twenty-minute commute to the £7,000-per-term Lambrook School in Berkshire is close to their new house.

Yesterday, when the three children met headmaster Jonathan Perry, they seemed pleased to be attending the same school for the first time.
