Kanye West said that he had to “battle” Kim Kardashian for a voice in the upbringing of his children and that he now wants to utilise his position as a celebrity to support dads who are forcibly removed from their children’s life.
The 45-year-old rapper revealed he had been “damaged” by his ex-wife, who he says decided where his four children went to school and how they dressed, in a new interview that aired on Good Morning America on Thursday.
I did have to struggle for my voice, but I do have one. When you have to yell over what your children are wearing, it hurts,” he remarked.

He claimed that in addition to his arguments with Kim about the children’s upbringing, he was also engaged in conflict with Adidas and Gap over the design of his Yeezy clothing.

“I have to battle for a voice in whether or not my kids attend Donda,” I said.
However, he claimed to have a “new respect” for Kim and to have always wished for her to maintain her composure.
“This is the mother of my children, and I really apologise for whatever anxiety I may have caused, even in my annoyance, since God is calling me to be more resilient.
To be able to raise those children at the end of the day, he added, “I need this person to be less worried, of the best, sound mind, and as tranquil as possible.”
He said that in Donda, kids “spread” and “sing” the gospel.
His stated objective was to “create a school that provides children with the practical skills they need in the real world.”
He had previously said during the interview that social media may be both helpful and harmful.

One of the school’s basic principles, according to its website, is that “students must be confident in creating ideas.” Their writing will deteriorate if they don’t.
In an apparent “shoutout to Elon Musk,” he said that he wanted kids to learn about space flight.
