Kaizer Chiefs will not renew Bernard Parker’s contract

Kaizer Chiefs, the Soweto giants, have parted ways with club veteran Bernard Parker.

The club has issued an official statement stating that they will “sadly not renew Bernard Parker’s contract when it expires at the end of June 2022.”

After 11 years of service, Arker will be leaving the club.
He joined Chiefs in 2011 from FC Twente in the Eredivisie, and he scored 62 goals in 359 games for Amakhosi.

Parker was instrumental in the club winning four major trophies, including two PSL titles.
