Kaizer Chiefs REVAMP! 12 players, two legends on their way out of Naturena

A total of 12 Chiefs players may no longer be a part of the club come the end of June, according to KickOff.

That is more than an entire side worth of players and an extra reserve to boot! Amakhosi could go from being the most quite team in the recent transfer window to the side with the most moves.

Amongst these 12 players are two Amakhosi legends – Bernard Parker and Eric Mathoho. Parker’s contract comes to an end in June and his agent Mike Makaab has confirmed that he is likely to hang up his boots! He will retire a club legend when he does.

His teammate, Mathoho, has fallen out of favour with new interim coaches Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard. This, after his recent schoolboy blunder and inconsistent form. Opening up the door for Njabulo Ngcobo and Austin Dube.

CONTRACTS ENDING IN JUNE:

Leonardo Castro, Lazorous Kambole and Samir Nurkovic are very likely to leave Naturena come June. All of these men have struggled for form and gametime and their time at Chiefs seems to be coming to an end. They could be joined by a mass exodus of players following them out of Naturena.

Dumisani Zuma has just been suspended – yet again! He missed close to a year of action – sitting on the sidelines for 10 months before being suspended twice. He is unlikely to get given another chance.

CHECK OUT: ITUMELENG KHUNE’S FIVE BEAUTIFUL CARS

Club veteran Ramahlwe Mphahlele has spent six years with the Glamour Boys but his contract is coming to an end this June. He is unlikely to extend despite his contract allowing him to extend by one more season. He is no longer a regular first-choice player.

The other veteran is Lebogang Manyama. This season, he made 11 appearances without registering a single goal or assist. He may very well venture out and look for a new start to kickstart his career.

Kearyn Baccus has received interest from several PSL clubs this season and he has not made his mark with Amakhosi just yet. The ball is in his court though with a move on the cards.

ONE FOOT OUT OF NATURENA ALREADY

Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya has already been transfer listed.

However, he has already made five appearances since then but several right footers have been used at left-back at Chiefs. Meaning, he is not needed but he has but in some decent performances so far this season so only time will tell

Teddy Akumu still has a year left but it is almost as if he has been forgotten. There is a high probability of his contract being terminated this June. Even Cole Alexander is not safe since the man who brought him to Naturena (Stuart Baxter) has been axed.

Who of these 12 players would you like to see offered a contract extension come the end of June?
