It follows similar scenes on Monday, when eco-extremists climbed gantries at 11 intersections on Britain’s biggest road, causing chaos for commuters.

Some nurses were unable to reach the hospital for work or return home after a 12-hour night shift, while others missed flights or crucial doctor visits.

The eco-mob objects to the usage of fossil fuels and demands that no new oil and gas licenses be issued.

Today at 6:31 a.m., Surrey Police said, “There is one protester on a gantry near junction 8, but traffic is now flowing normally.”

This morning, the police warned would-be eco-extremists that “any criminal activity will be dealt with immediately.”
