Just days after divorcing his wife, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has been photographed enjoying a relaxed vacation with his new love.

The German coach took a break before continuing to make preparations for the upcoming season, spending time in Sardinia with his new Brazilian partner, Natalie Max.

A judge at London’s High Court last week granted the 48-year-old, who had been married to journalist Sissi Tuchel for 13 years, a divorce.

The 35-year-old Ms Max and the Blues manager were spotted together on a boat at the Mediterranean island where they held hands and laughed while swimming in the water.

During a brief intermission between his team’s tour of the United States, which finished on Sunday, and a friendly match against Italian team Udinese tomorrow, he travelled there with the company owner.

According to the Sun, the couple, who each have two daughters, is residing in a villa that costs £20,000 per night.

They appeared to be very much in love, a vacationer told the newspaper. Natalie once wrapped her hand around his neck and leant in for a kiss.

They relaxed on the beach, went swimming, ate lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, and then boarded a boat to the island of Caprera.

On Wednesday, Mr. Justice Mostyn of the High Court in London granted a divorce to the former manager of Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund after concluding that the marriage could not be saved.

According to a person who spoke to the Mail on Sunday, Mrs. Tuchel filed for divorce at the end of March, citing irreconcilable differences.

Despite their efforts to stay together, “in the end there was no other option,” the source added.

They stated that it was “extremely heartbreaking” and that now everything revolved around making sure their girls came first.

Seven months after her husband arrived in the country after being hired by Chelsea, Mrs. Tuchel relocated there in August of last year.

He had initially slept in a motel close to the club’s practise facility in Cobham, Surrey.

The Chelsea manager, who reputedly earns £7 million year, is thought to have come to an agreement with his ex-wife.

She may be entitled to a share of his future earnings as well as up to half of his current fortune because she left her job at the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung to raise their family.

It happened just over a year ago, after Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the Champions League, and Mrs. Tuchel was seen sprinting across the field at Porto’s Estadio do Dragao before leaping into her husband’s arms.

His marriage disintegrated as Chelsea’s off-field problems started to take centre stage during the close of the previous campaign, with former owner Roman Abramovich selling the team after receiving federal sanctions for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen, all major players who left the club at that time, have been replaced by a group led by American investor and businessman Todd Boehly.

The manager has been dissatisfied thus far in preseason as key transfer targets have not materialised, with only Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly and English striker Raheem Sterling joining the team from Napoli and Manchester City, respectively.

His Chelsea club, which placed third in the Premier League last season, has spent the previous few weeks touring the United States in preparation for the upcoming season.

Tuchel and his team had a poor trip since they struggled to produce wins, losing on penalties to MLS team Charlotte FC and getting destroyed 4-0 by London rivals Arsenal.

His team will play a preseason friendly against Udinese in Italy tomorrow before beginning the new season with a trip to Everton on Saturday, August 6.
