Stella Assange expressed concern to the PA news agency about her husband’s health, which has deteriorated since he was transferred to Belmarsh prison three years ago after being pulled from the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

He is engaged in a protracted legal battle to prevent his extradition to the United States.

The news of the Covid infection broke over the weekend, as thousands of people demanded Assange’s release from prison in London, Washington, D.C., and Melbourne.

Mrs. Assange stated, “Julian felt ill last week, but began vomiting on Friday.
