On Sunday, the Yankees’ spring training provided some noteworthy events. In his first at-bat of the spring, Jose Trevino hit a grand slam off right-hander Bryce Elder with the bases loaded.

The NY Post illustrated the hit and Trevino’s celebratory moment with Aaron Judge.

The Yankees attempted a combined no-hitter against the Braves, but Sam Hilliard’s seventh-inning single off Will Warren led them to settle for a one-hitter.

Despite Atlanta’s lineup only featuring one expected starter, five Yankees pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and three walks.

Guest instructor Bernie Williams arrived at camp on Sunday and spent time with Harrison Bader and Jasson Dominguez, among others, during batting practice on a backfield.

Looking forward, Luis Severino is scheduled to start the Yankees’ game against the Tigers at Steinbrenner Field at 6:35 p.m. on Monday.
