Jill Harris bad-mouthed Melbourne Extension Factory after a delay

A dissatisfied client posted placards on her front lawn criticizing the business responsible for her “ex-tent-ion” home.

Jill Harris stated that she signed a contract with Extension Factory over two years ago to construct a second floor to her Upper Ferntree Gully, Melbourne, house.

Unfortunately, a series of mishaps caused the project to be continuously delayed, leaving Ms. Harris with a “homemade swimming pool” instead of a house.

Now she and her son reside in a tarp maze that is always leaking, moldy, and coming apart.

Jill Harris (shown in front of her home) claims that following a two-year delay in her refurbishment, she has written negative evaluations about her ‘tent’ home for the Extension Factory.

“I call this the tent, and I live in the tent because there is no roof over my room or my son’s room,” she said on Tuesday’s episode of A Current Affair.

Ms. Harris stated that the only way she can retaliate against the firm is by painting her home as a life-size negative review.

Signs affixed on her fence label the residence a ‘health hazard’ and claim that it is ‘ruining lives’, all under the imaginative moniker ‘Extension Factory’.

The owner of Extension Factory, Gerry Hoggard, acknowledged that the remodeling has gone awry.

“It was undoubtedly a mistake; it was constructed out of proportion; we accepted responsibility and took it down,” he said.

The delayed renovation left Ms. Harris and her kid with a tangle of tarps, leaking roofs, and mold.

Mr. Hoggard stated that a portion of the fault lies with Ms. Harris and her brother, a former employee of the company, for refusing to relocate during the refurbishment since ‘it’s not the type of job you would leave someone on the premises’

A surveyor has ordered that development on the extension be suspended due to “owner(s) and builder(s) noncompliance with building legislation.”

Ms. Harris is uncertain as to whether or not her home will ever be completed.

Give me back my house, and even what I had. She remarked, “At least I had a life back then.”
