Jesse Clegg acknowledges fans after partner’s death

Jesse Clegg, a South African singer and guitarist, has expressed gratitude to his admirers and supporters for their unending love in the wake of the unexpected loss of his girlfriend Dani Cooperman.

The “Speed of Light” singer posted a message on his Instagram account on Thursday thanking everyone for their support throughout his difficult period.

The love and support I have received over the last three weeks has been incredible, he stated.

“The encouraging remarks are truly appreciated at this difficult time for me and my family.

“Dani always dealt with difficulties in a strong, caring, and graceful manner, and I know that she would have wanted us to enjoy every moment of life to the utmost.”

Clegg said that he will be making another appearance on stage.

“I appreciate your patience since prior activities over the last several weeks had to be cancelled. Love to you and I’ll see you soon.

Cooperman passed away from cancer, according to a statement made public by Clegg earlier this month.

He stated, “I convey the news of the demise of my darling Dani with tremendous regret.

She received a cancer diagnosis last year and battled it until the very end with remarkable bravery and grace.

“She is now at peace since her soul has gone on to its next big journey.

She will be sorely missed by her family and the many people she touched, he continued. She was the light of my life and did an amazing job as Mylah’s mother. She carries on with her lovely energy. I’ll see you on the other side, my darling.

The Clegg family also experienced grief at Cooperman’s passing.

“She was a lovely soul who added a lot of pleasure and worth to our lives. All of us adored and respected her, his family said in a statement.

“She was a cherished member of our family and a source of strength and comfort for us in our darkest hours. She is survived by her and Jesse’s lovely daughter, Mylah, who is Johnny’s first granddaughter and whose legacy continues through them.

The two had been together for more than 10 years. On March 2, 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Mylah Thandolwethu Clegg.
