Foreign Dignitaries Arrive in Abuja for Tinubu’s Presidential Inauguration

Preparations are underway in Abuja as dignitaries from various countries begin to arrive for the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the new President of Nigeria.

At the same event, Kashim Shettima will be inaugurated as the Vice-President, according to Naija News.

A notable number of sixty-five heads of state have been invited to the presidential inauguration, which is scheduled to take place at the Eagle Square in Abuja on Monday, May 29, 2023.

1. United States Delegation: The delegation led by Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Marcia L. Fudge, represents President Joe Biden.

2. President Paul Kagame of Rwanda: The Rwandan presidency confirmed his arrival in Abuja through their official Twitter account, stating that he will attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside other Heads of State from around the world.

3. Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune: Reports indicate that President Tebboune has also arrived in Abuja for the ceremony.
