She is bursting with shame.

Twitch personality Jessica Fernandez offered an apology Tuesday after her video about a “feral” man who she claimed was staring at her “like a piece of meat” at the gym went viral.

Fernandez released the apology on TwitLonger, a Twitter application that allows users to submit tweets longer than 140 characters, describing the video as “the most serious thing I have ever posted.”

“First and foremost, I want to apologize to the man at the gym where everything began. “He did not do anything wrong to me, but I exaggerated our interaction,” wrote Fernandez. “Many people believe that I’m only apologizing because I was called out in the video I posted, which is partially true.”

The since-deleted video depicts Fernandez exercising weights and whining about a man standing behind her.

Fernandez stated into a microphone, “Stupid f—ing piece of s— behind me.” I detest this. I abhor this. I detest the presence of oddballs.”

Twitch personality Jessica Fernandez offered an apology Tuesday after her video about a “feral” man who she claimed was staring at her “like a piece of meat” at the gym went viral.

Then, Fernandez zooms in on the accused “creep” who can be seen nearby and offers to help her put a plate to the barbell she is using.

The video also contains various captions, such as “What if I just ripped his pp out of its socket so he can never reproduce again?” and “natural selection had better wipe out these freaks.”

Joey Swoll, a fellow fitness influencer, criticized the streamer, stating that she “needs to do better.”

“Women must no longer be harassed in gyms, but you are not one of them. A pleasant deed or a smile will not make you a victim.” The caption of Swoll’s video is read.

Swoll says in the video that the man was simply attempting to help Fernandez because he thought she was struggling with the weight and pointed out that she was in front of him and had her camera facing him.

Swoll stated, “First and foremost, there is a significant difference between staring at someone and simply looking or glancing at them

Therefore, why did this man glance at you? You are actually in front of him, to the side. You are in his vicinity. You are also recording a video of him with the camera pointing squarely at him while conversing with yourself. He is likely seeing you and wondering, “What is she doing?” Know I would.”

Fernandez confesses in her apologies that she has experienced sexual assault and sexual harassment, all of which have left her “extremely damaged.”

The influencer also acknowledges that she would not have had the opportunity to learn from her error if she had not been called out.

“After reading literally thousands of comments about me, the situation, and the man in question, I realized how damaging this could have been for him,” Fernandez added. “Men and women face vastly different issues in the arena of the opposite sex, and after viewing the situation through the eyes of an innocent man, I can say that this is true. I felt genuinely ill to my stomach with guilt.

The influencer stated, “I believe it’s important to call people out on their errors and, in Joey’s words, help them ‘Do better.’” This is precisely what I intend to do with not only my content, but also my life in the future.
