In the most recent attack, a farmer and his wife were beaten, and their home was plundered

A multifaceted team of investigators has been assembled to locate the individuals who reportedly beat a farmer and his wife and stole from a game property on Tshipise road in the Musina police precinct in Limpopo.

The farm was attacked on the evening of Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

According to the South African Police Service (SAPS), around five armed criminals entered the property at approximately 21:15 and assaulted the wife of the farm’s owner.

Additionally, a farmer and his wife survived a recent attempt on their lives.

According to reports, the suspects demanded to know where the farmer and his wife stored their cash and other valuables. They then stole 11 weapons, unspecified sums of Rands, U.S. dollars, and British pounds, a laptop computer, and a cell phone from two safes before departing in the farmer’s Toyota Land Cruiser. The vehicle’s license plate number is DHG 739 L.

Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, the police commissioner of Limpopo, stated that the squad would work around the clock to seek down the suspects and bring them to justice.

She stated, “We appeal to the people to assist the police by providing information that can lead to the arrest of the culprits.”

“The Provincial Murder and Robbery Unit will lead the team of investigators created to investigate this case,” he explained.
