Ms Ardern became enraged when Mr Seymour peppered her with a series of controversial questions in New Zealand parliament.

‘Can the Prime Minister give an example of her making a mistake, appropriately apologizing for it, and correcting it?’ Mr Seymour questioned.

Ms Ardern had a visibly agitated answer to the inquiry before muttering the profanity.

Most members of the house missed the slur, but it was caught up on recordings, requiring Ms Ardern to apologize.

On a microphone, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was heard saying to ACT Party leader David Seymour, “such an arrogant prick,” as she sat down after answering his questions on Tuesday.

She apologized via text message to Mr Seymour.

The SMS is claimed to have said, ‘I apologies, it’s not anything I should have said.’

‘As my mother would say, if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say it,’ she added.

Mr Seymour accepted the apologies and wished Ms Ardern a happy holiday season.

He later used the slur as a catapult to slam Ms Ardern once more in a media interview.

‘Sometimes I am a worthless Mori, and other times I am an arrogant p****,’ he admitted.

‘What we actually want is an apology for New Zealanders who are anxious about rising costs and ram raids.’

He further requested that Ms Ardern remove her comment and apologize to the Speaker, Adrian Rurawhe.

He refused, stating that he needed to review Hansard, the official record of proceedings.

A recent poll found that Ms Ardern’s popularity has plummeted, with her approval rating at its lowest since she assumed office in 2017.

Labour’s popularity dropped to 33%, while the Nationals increased to 38%.

Mr. Seymour has been the ACT Party’s leader since 2014.

At the 2020 New Zealand election, the Party received 7.6 percent of the vote and 10 seats.
