Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell delight audiences by reuniting on stage

Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell delighted audiences by reuniting on stage at the 95th Academy Awards to present the award for best production design, nearly 30 years after the release of Four Weddings And A Funeral.

The romantic comedy had depicted Grant’s bumbling character Charles vying for the attention of Carrie, played by MacDowell.

Grant, 62, used the opportunity on stage to joke about his appearance, saying he resembled “a scrotum” while standing next to MacDowell, who he said had been wearing moisturiser every day for the last 29 years.

He urged others to find “a good moisturiser”.

Grant had earlier spoken with model Ashley Graham in what People Magazine called “a brief, awkward interview”.

According to reports, some viewers were unhappy with Grant’s comments, with one saying he was “mad rude” and others praising Graham for putting up with him.

Despite the controversy, the night was a successful reunion for Grant and MacDowell, who presented the award for best production design to Netflix’s All Quiet On The Western Front.
