Principal features of the guideline / The CBN Introduces N500 Graduate Grants
The scheme’s sponsored projects will be overseen by independent monitors established jointly by the CBN and MFIs.
Depending on the project’s complexity, this program will be implemented for the first time (no later than December 31, 2031) in 10 years.
Interest and principal must be repaid monthly or quarterly in accordance with a predetermined cash flow cycle and an approved repayment schedule.
Eligibility Requirements / CBN awards N500 scholarships to graduating students
Applicants for the program will be graduates of Nigerian universities and polytechnics:
i. First-degree diploma (BSc/HND/or an equivalent);
National Youth Service Certificate (NYSC) certificate of release or exemption;
Certificates of Participation provided by polytechnics and universities attesting to entrepreneurial education; and
iv. No more than seven years after NYSC

Step 3: Click the Continue button
Step 3: Select the type of loan (Tier 1 – Sole Proprietorship or Tier 2 – Small Business/Enterprise).
Step 4: Enter your NYSC Callup Number / Your NYSC request may take up to one minute to process.
Fill out the NYSC Certificate Number, Year of NYSC Certificate, and Graduation Year fields.
