An drunken woman visiting a Georgia hotel guest asked the front desk worker for aid after she was locked out of the room, but investigators say that instead of assisting her, he raped her.

The woman told police she was visiting a friend at the Newnan Red Roof Inn & Suites on Saturday when she became “very inebriated,” according to The Newnan Times-Herald, which cited the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the newspaper, she urinated on herself in the elevator before reporting to the front desk that she was locked out because her friend had left the hotel.

The attendant in the lobby, Jermaine Oswald Soo-Tim, 31, instructed the woman to follow him to the office so she could clean up.

Surveillance footage recorded the two entering the off-camera room, where they allegedly sexually assaulted the victim for around twenty minutes.

The 31-year-old Jermaine Oswald Soo-Tim was charged with rape and kidnapping.

The culprit later returned the woman to the common area, where she was again seen on tape sitting on a chair to put on her pants, according to the police report published by the news source.

WSB-TV claimed that she was just wearing a blouse and underpants at the time.

Later, the victim was observed following Soo-Tim out of the hotel before returning to the lobby and dialing 911.

The front desk clerk allegedly raped a woman who sought his assistance.

A police officer who responded to the incident dialed the number displayed on the lobby’s window. According to authorities, a man who introduced himself as “John” responded but declined to return to the hotel.

Later, another hotel employee assisted detectives in identifying Soo-Tim as the previous on-duty employee.

According to The Newnan Times-Herald, the woman was examined at a hospital following the disturbing incident.

Monday, Soo-Tim was arrested and charged with aggravated rape and kidnapping. He was incarcerated at the Coweta County Jail.

Newnan is roughly 40 miles southwest of Atlanta’s downtown area.

The Post has requested comment from Red Roof.
