Herschel Walker claims he wouldn’t feel ashamed if he paid for an ex’s abortion

Herschel Walker swears he does not know the lady who claims he paid for her abortion as the Georgia Republican Senate candidate faces three shocking controversies in October, including his conservative son’s vocal opposition.

Despite his persistent pro-life stance, Walker told radio presenter Hugh Hewitt on Thursday morning that he would have revealed if he paid for a previous partner to abort the pregnancy of their child, arguing it is “nothing to be ashamed of.”

The Daily Beast said on Monday that a woman presented a reporter a $700 handwritten check and ‘get well’ card from Walker encouraging her to ‘Rest,’ ‘Relax,’ and ‘Recover.’

She said the money was for an abortion and substantiated her allegation with a 2009 receipt for $575 from an abortion facility.

Walker rejected all allegations made by the unidentified lady in an interview with Fox News hours after the piece was published. Additionally, he issued a statement in the same manner.

Herschel Walker, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, stated that he would not be ashamed if he paid for an ex-girlfriend to have an abortion since ‘there’s nothing to be ashamed of’ despite his constant and unwavering anti-abortion stance.

Thursday on a radio interview, when further questioned about the allegations, the former NFL player stated, “I know this is false.”

“I know nothing about any woman getting an abortion,” he stated, before launching into a convoluted series of arguments saying that if he did pay for an abortion, it would be forgiven because it occurred in a previous life.

When asked if he wants forgiveness, the candidate recanted his statements and replied, “No.”Herschel Walker claims he wouldn’t feel ashamed if he paid for an ex’s abortion

Walker stated, “I hate to say I’ve been reborn, but I have a new life.” ‘And I’ve been moving forward.

“Had it occurred, I would have said so, as there is nothing to be ashamed about,” he claimed.

People have done it, but I have no knowledge of it. And if I knew about it, I would be forthright and discuss it, but I do not,’ Walker said.

Christian Walker (right), the 22-year-old son of former NFL player Herschel Walker and his college lover Cindy Grossman, tweeted: ‘Every family member of Herschel Walker advised him not to run for office because we all knew his background.’

As Republicans attempt to restore majority control of Congress, the Georgia Senate race is one of the most keenly followed in the nation.

In the midterm election in November, Walker will oppose incumbent Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock.During Walker's appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News show this week, pictures of the get well soon card were shown that the anonymous woman claims were given to her by Walker after her abortion – along with a check for $700

Walker is adamantly pro-life, declaring in May 2022 that he opposes abortion in all circumstances.

He told reporters, “In my perspective, there is no exemption.” As stated, I believe in life. I have faith in life.

“You can never predict what a child will become,” he remarked at the time. And I’ve seen folks who have endured difficult circumstances, but I’ve always maintained, “No matter what, terrible experiences make tough people.”

Walker has urged for increased adoption funds and assistance for single parents.

Christian Walker, the sole named child of the candidate, stated that he pleaded with his father not to run for Senate due to his extensive baggage.

The son of the former NFL player and his college sweetheart, Cindy Grossman, stated on Twitter: ‘Every member of Herschel Walker’s family advised him not to run for politics because we all knew his history. Each and every one.’

“He decided to give us the middle finger and air all of his dirty laundry in public while lying about it,” the speaker added.

During Walker’s appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show this week, images of a get well soon card and a $700 check, which the unnamed lady claims Walker sent her after her abortion, were shown.

Wednesday evening, he posted another tweet that appeared to be directed at his father, stating, “Wear a condom, damn.”

Walker told Fox host Sean Hannity on Monday, in response to a story that he transferred monies to an unnamed woman, that he sends money to a large number of people. I believe in being generous.’

Robert Ingram, his attorney, is described by The Daily Beast as saying that the current attack from the left-leaning media website is part of an ongoing pattern of smearing black conservative politicians.

“All you want to do is target black conservatives with your tales.” You concentrate on black conservatives,’ said Ingram.

Walker told Hewitt on Thursday, ‘They can say whatever they want, but no one has ever told me that I paid for an abortion. That never occurred.

The lady who claims Walker paid for her abortion has not come forward or been identified, and no other source has corroborated the account.

After the article was published, Walker vowed to sue The Daily Beast.

In a statement made on his social media platforms, he stated, “This is a complete fabrication, and I refute it in the strongest possible terms.”

Since the beginning of this campaign, a Democrat activist posing as a reporter has relentlessly targeted my family and sought to discredit me, according to the statement.

It added, ‘He has tormented my friends by inquiring whether I am the father of their children. Because I did not wish to utilize my children as campaign props in a political campaign, he has referred to them as a “secret.”
