Helen Flanagan, a 32-year-old star from Coronation Street, revealed that she cried when producers took her phone off her during her original stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! back in 2012.

Helen, who is making a return to the hit ITV show for the all-stars version, has promised to be less scared this time around.

She revealed that she cried when her phone was taken off her after landing in Australia because she had no idea what she had let herself in for.

However, she is determined to make her children proud when she takes part in the show this time around, stating that she has grown up a lot and gone through three labours, and that she wants to be a better version of herself.

Helen will appear on the new series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! South Africa alongside past contestants such as Carol Vorderman, Shaun Ryder and Paul Burrell.

The full cast was announced earlier this year, and it seems they’ve got something to prove.

The series will be hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

The show is set to kick off on Monday, April 24th, at 9 pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Helen is nervous about leaving her children while she is away but has made them little cards to open for when she is away.

Commenting on her previous appearance on the show, Helen said that she was only 22 at the time, but now, after 10 years, she has grown up a lot, and she wants to do a lot better than the first time around.

She wants to give the trials a go and make herself proud. Helen shares three young children with her former partner Scott Sinclair, daughters Matilda and Delilah, and son Charlie.
