Applications are being accepted from eligible individuals for admission to the diploma programmes at the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic (HUKPOLY), Katsina State, for the academic year 2022–2023.
HUKPOLY Diploma Admission Requirements
DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
GCE/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO Ordinary Level or equivalent (Teachers Grade II), with three (3) credit passes in Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Geography, Government, Agricultural Science, Biology, AND a pass in English Language and Mathematics obtained at no more than two sittings.
Candidates who have successfully completed the programme(s) and have also obtained qualifications for admission into the National Diploma programme by direct entry are given ADVANCED CREDITS or admitted into the National Diploma (ND II) direct as is available at Kaduna Polytechnic, in accordance with the Polytechnic regulations.
DIPLOMA SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT (DSD)
Grade II SSCE Certificate with at least four (4) credits in English and any other three (3) topics from the list below: Government, History, Economics, Integrated Science, and so on.
Intermediate Certificates in Community Development, Adult Education, and Social Development are required.
Three (3) credits with two passes in related disciplines and at least two years of work experience are required.
Any other appropriate qualification that the Polytechnic accepts.
DIPLOMA ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY
GCE/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO Ordinary Level or equivalent (Teachers Grade II), with a minimum of five(5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, and Biology earned in no more than two(2) sittings.
How to Apply for HUKPOLY Diploma Admission Form
All Diploma candidates must pay a screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00), following which they will be requested to complete a profile page, print, and send a copy to the Academic Office. They must also pay one thousand five hundred naira (N1, 500.00) for verification.
Eligible applicants must pay using the payment methods available on the student portal at portal.hukpoly.edu.ng. Cash payments are not accepted at the Polytechnic.
