Harry’s cousin-in-law to star in British reality program is another alarming development for Royals

Prince Harry’s cousin-in-law has joined the cast of a reality TV program, only one week after alarming facts about the prince’s memoir were made public. As a result, Buckingham Palace is bracing itself for another public relations disaster.

Former England rugby player Mike Tindall is married to Harry’s cousin Zara Phillips.

While neither he nor his wife hold royal titles – Zara’s mother Princess Anne, sister of King Charles, decided not to give her daughter a title in order to avoid the pressure and attention that comes with it – Tindall is certainly expected to share secrets.

The 44-year-old father of four has promised to be “an open book,” presumably causing Palace courtiers restless nights.

Last week, Harry announced the cover and title of his upcoming autobiography, Spare, and confirmed that it will be released in January.

Tindall will fly to Australia to appear on the British reality television program “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Ten celebrities from sport, media, and television camp in the rainforest and fight to be proclaimed king or queen of the jungle.

The public votes via telephone to determine who will participate in a “bushtucker trial,” which typically involves eating insects, completing an obstacle course, or being trapped with animals.

Based on each contestant’s performance, voters determine who will be eliminated each week and who will be crowned the winner.

If any celebrity finds the experience of sleeping in the wilderness, in a hammock, and cooking for themselves without modern conveniences to be unbearable, they can yell, “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!”

‘ – and then leave the show immediately.

Winners in the past have included Margaret Thatcher’s daughter Carol, Westlife’s Kian Egan, and former England soccer manager Harry Redknapp.

Tindall will compete this year against various soap opera actresses, TV presenters, and the 61-year-old singer Boy George.

The singer of Culture Club, whose 1983 song Karma Chameleon was a worldwide hit, is the highest-paid participant, reportedly getting $575,000.

Tindall is anticipated to receive $172,000 in compensation and will certainly secure lucrative advertising deals.

As non-working members of the royal family, they do not receive public funds; his wife is a professional equestrienne, but also benefited from a trust fund established by the Queen Mother for her great-grandchildren.

Tindall has already began to generate income by filming commercials for Domino’s Pizza and Amazon Prime.

His Olympian wife has endorsement arrangements with Rolex, Land Rover, and Musto, among others.

During an interview with The Times of London last year, Tindall stated that his revenue from after-dinner speaking (for which he charges between $2,800 and $5,400, according to the agency After Dinner World) ceased during the pandemic.

‘Money is always a concern,’ he added, adding that after he resigned from rugby in 2014: ‘I was very fortunate to have a few ambassadorial responsibilities, so there’s money coming in, but sponsorships won’t stay forever.

With a third kid on the way and school fees to be paid in the near future, it is imperative to plan ahead.

Tindall, who was born in a mining area in northern England, expects to face difficult obstacles in the jungle because of his family.

He said, “I am well aware that everyone who has ever played rugby will say, “Yeah, let’s patch him up.”

This type of humor is shared by the entirety of my social circle, and I am confident that they will want to vote for me.

“I am willing to undertake quite a few obstacles.”

Mike admits that his friend, former I’m a Celebrity contestant James Haskell, praised the program so much that he eventually decided to participate.

He continued, “It is beginning to hit in now that I am participating.” I am prepared for battle.

“I have been invited multiple times to participate. The time was ideal this year, and Hask (James) had been talking about doing the show.’

He joked that he wouldn’t mind participating in the famous eating trials because it would give him a chance to eat some ‘protein,’ adding, ‘I have been out of the game for eight years, so I am a bit more realistic about food, but I know James said the lack of food can be difficult at times.

But at least during the eating trials, you consume food! It may not taste very good, but at least it serves a purpose and provides you with protein. Bring on the difficulties.

Tindall described himself as a “open book” and added, “In a rugby match, you know what to expect, and when the going gets tough, you know what to expect.”

‘This is something you cannot predict; you do not know where it will lead you, therefore you cannot truly prepare for it. You must have the ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

‘With any luck, I’ll have it, and I won’t overthink things. I hope that my personality matches this.”

The 2003 World Cup champion and MBE recipient, who has three children with Zara, adding that he will miss his family “first and foremost.”

He stated, “I shall also miss my bed and a good breakfast.”

“Sleeping on a hammock doesn’t bother me too much, but it will be an interesting experience because I don’t normally fall asleep anywhere.

However, I have slept in a hammock before, and your body will eventually adjust.
